2025 The 62nd ANNUAL MISS LOS ANGELES CHINATOWN PAGEANT 羅省華埠小姐選舉

Eligibility Criteria (All Applicants must meet ALL of the following prerequisites):

Gender: Female (recognized as female both medically and legally in the United States)
Age: Must be between 18 and 26 years old and not turn 27 on or before the date of the Pageant.
Marital Status: Single, never married
Educational Requirement: A high school diploma, GED, or higher-level education
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English
Ancestry: At least 25% Chinese ancestry
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship or proof of legal residency in the U.S.
Residency: Resident of the Greater Los Angeles Area or enrolled in a college within this area
Legal Standing: No history of or current felony or criminal charges, records, or acts
Parental Status: Must never have given birth, cannot be a parent or guardian of any adult or minor, and cannot currently be pregnant
Previous Participation: Must not have been a member of any Miss Los Angeles Chinatown court

Application Process (Please note that your application will not be processed until all required documents are submitted).

Complete the application form and submit it online.
Send the following documents to misslachinatownccc@gmail.com with the subject line “2025 Miss Los Angeles Chinatown - [APPLICANT’S NAME]” within three days of submitting your application:
- A 300-500 word essay about yourself and a video introduction (up to two minutes). Essay prompts: Who are you? What was your upbringing like? What are your interests? What makes you unique? What values are important to you?
- A copy of your California Driver’s License or DMV-issued Identification.
- One 4” x 6” headshot photo.
- One 4” x 6” full length photo.
- Curriculum Vitae (Resume) with additional interests and involvement included.
All applications and materials submitted will become the property of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles and will not be returned.
Official documentation for verification of the provided information must be available upon request.
No application fee is required.

Application Deadline: November 15, 2024

Preliminary Interview: November 15 to November 16, 2024. Following the Preliminary Interview, you will be notified of your selection status as a contestant.

Pageant Overview

Selected contestants must sign and agree to all terms stated in the Contestant Agreement. Failure to sign the agreement will be deemed a voluntary withdrawal from the 2025 Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant.
Contestants are required to attend rehearsals, the photo session, the press conference, and the pageant.
Each contestant is responsible for covering the cost of her attire, including accessories needed for each segment of the show.
Rehearsals will be held on Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM
All scores and results from the Pageant are final.

Mandatory Appearances:

Press Conference: Date and location to be announced.
62nd Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant: Sunday, January 19, 2025, at The Westin Bonaventure
Hotel & Suites.
126th Golden Dragon Parade: Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Los Angeles Chinatown.

PART F: APPLICANT’S STATEMENT

I, the undersigned, hereby affirm that I am years old as of the date of this Agreement and submit my application for entry into the 2025 62nd Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant. I have read and fully understand all requirements outlined in this Application. If accepted, I agree to adhere to all rules and regulations governing the Pageant. Additionally, I agree to participate in all functions and promotional activities organized and managed by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles and to comply with all regulations set forth for contestants and title holders throughout the Chinese New Year Celebration and the title year. Should I currently hold a title from another pageant, I will provide the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles with written consent from the Chairperson of that pageant, authorizing my participation in the 2025 62nd Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant. This written consent must be submitted no later than one week after receiving notification of acceptance as a contestant. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles reserves the right to modify, revise, or cancel any rules and regulations as deemed necessary at any time after the execution of this Agreement. I understand that if I, or any other contestant, violates any rules or regulations or provides false or incomplete information on the application, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles has the sole discretion to cancel my candidacy or any other candidacy or to revoke any title without further explanation. I further agree to hold the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, its employees, directors, staff, agents, or any representatives harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from my participation in Pageant activities or any related events.
